Bicycle Donations Open – BUT!!!!!

All donation appointments for the month of June are full. If you need a donation appointment, please call back during the last week in June. Please note that due to extremely limited storage space, we are not accepting any bicycles with 20″ wheels or smaller (i.e., kid size bikes). We also are not accepting bicycles that are missing lots of parts, are rusty, or in very poor condition. There is always a shortage of better quality true hybrid bicycles, and of hybrid and mountain bicycles to fit riders 5’10” and taller. We give priority appointments to folks who want to give us these items. We currently have a surplus of lower end road (racing style) bicycles, 3-speeds, and cruisers, so we suggest that you wait until space becomes available before donating these items.

One other thing – donation appointment times are firm. Don’t come more than five minutes before or after your scheduled time. We schedule these appointments so we are able to quickly retrieve your donations, and if you stray from your appointed time we will be busy with customers inside the shop and may not be able to retrieve your items in a timely manner. Also, don’t book an appointment and then not show up. For every appointment we make, we have to turn down several other folks. Please give us advance notice if you are unable to keep your donation appointment.

We realize that you are giving us something that you value, and we appreciate it. However, we also need to manage our space so we aren’t buried in bicycles, and we also are still operating under COVID rules, so these rules are necessary. Thanks for your understanding.
